A superb quality 19th Century black forest walnut “Cave a’ Liqueur” drinks cabinet, the shaped platform top having a dog sitting amongst various foliage, the cabinet profusely carved all over and incorporating engraved glass arched panels to the sides and front with engraved glass to the rear, decorative turned columns at the front with a lockable key in the central column, raised on a carved platform base with turned feet, the hinged lid lifts upward and then falls back allowing the front to be open for ease of access, comprising of four decanters and 15 liqueur glasses (originally 16) each glass etched in gold. Wonderful quality and in excellent condition. Circa 1880.
