A large 19th Century Anglo Indian mahogany campaign / blanket chest, the hinged top opening to reveal a large compartment space, wonderful figured top, the original carrying handles on either end and the original lock plate and hinges, decorated with circular metal studs throughout, supported on block feet. In fantastic condition and having a lovely warm mahogany colour. Circa 1840.
