A large 19th Century camphor wood military trunk / chest in fantastic condition, having brass corner straps, recessed handles and lock latches, two original brass carrying handles and each side of the trunk, the hinged lid opening to reveal a large compartment space which has a working lock and key. The inside of the top is stamped “Army & Navy C.S.L” Lovely rich warm colour and ideal for use as a coffee table. Circa 1880.
